A leopard awakes after an afternoon nap and meal of a springbok antelope.

Up early and checked out of Halali camp and drove to Goas. There we saw an injured lion along the parking area near the waterhole. She had a puncture mark on her upper chest. Perhaps from a fight with another member of her pride. Off in the distance was an injured ornx. If you can two and two together, maybe a fight with the oryx.

Then headed to Ngobib Waterhole, not a good location. Some animals but difficult to shoot. Off to Kalkheukel and saw some elephants. Sat there awhile and some kudus and zebras showed off, also a hyena.

Headed to another suggested waterhole, Chudop. Some birds and few giraffes. Off to Komachas, nothing happening there.

Temperatures reached 36 celsius, so we headed to camp. On route spotted a leopard attending to a kill. Checked into Nautomi Camp, went to room and enjoy this room and was amazed, far the best lodge in Etosha and derives its name from the old German fort around which it is built.

Went out in the later afternoon and checked out Klein Namutoni, some action but took the ride into the woods of Dik Dik Drive. Some birds and Dik Diks. Drove back to Chudop and waited for leopard. As the sunset approached so did our photo opportunity.
