Feeling the pain at the New York City Marathon
More than 51,000 people participated in this year’s marathon as the world-famous race takes runners through all five boroughs. Runners from across the country and around the world competed in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 5, 2017.
By the time many runners crossed the Queensboro Bridge and entered Manhattan near mile 16, they started feeling the pain not only in their bodies, but on their faces too. Here’s a look at how stressful it can be competing in the New York City Marathon.
