a waterhole is filled with action

All the animals from Noah's Ark were taking a break at the Nebrownii waterhole.

After checking out of Namutomi Camp, drove west towards Anderson Gate where the trip in Etosha began. Said good byes to fellow guests who made travel across Etosha with us.

Stopped at several waterholes including Chudop, Kalkeweil and perhaps the worst road in Etosha. The road to the Nuamses waterhole. We had to check it out after hearing about a fight between a hyena and leopard over a kill.

Made stops at Halali camp after making stops at Goas. Headed west towards Kapupuhedi and Newbrownii. Some animals were out but the sadness of leaving Etosha was getting stronger and photographing was no longer in my spirit. The four hour drive to Erindi Game Reserve was.

Checked out of park and drove south to Erindi. Had a tire going flat and was able to get jack out to fix. The truck was equipped with an air compressor. As we arrived in Erindi, the sun was going down and I was done for the day. Eleven hours behind the wheel in 40 celsius heat was enough.

Etosha National Park

Waterholes visited on day seven in Etosha National Park. Busy driving to get out of the park and drive to Erindi Game Reserve.
