Evolution of graphic and branded packages
The assignment of building a package for the Yahoo News packages was a rewarding task and a bit of a challenge. As the design lead I faced hard deadlines on these graphics that needed to work across multi-platform. Making a great banner that works is the first job at hand. I found it was easier to start small and work your way up and down. Then when you start making the art, you seek the working title for the project, which often changes at times. Then there's the presentation to colleagues who will offer options on what art should be. Always have to bear in mind that they are are the client. The branding used was the bottom one of each stack.
