Ballpark Roadtrips

Journeys to major league cities and taking in a game at ballparks that were new, old and perhaps now gone. A few years back I visited many major league parks to discover the cities, experience ballpark tours, in game entertainment and take in a game at ballparks that were new, old and perhaps now gone.

Are Dodger Dogs as good as people claim to be? Perhaps it's the sausage in Milwaukee or pierogies in Pittsburgh? Which venue has the best food? Have you taken a tour behind the scenes at a ballpark? Stood on the field and got a photo of yourself in the dugout? Who are the best fans and who were the worst fans? Do teams honor their past at present ballparks and display markers of teams' former home? Do teams have a hall of fame?

I would attend a game as a neutral fan and the following game as an opposing fan to see how I would be treated. I looked at the teams' proud tradition displayed in ballparks and if former ballparks were recognized were they once stood. I visited many stadiums over the years 26 in total but many teams have left the park like a Pete Alonso home run. Soon I will have to make new visits to the newest stadiums.
